We recently had a discussion around here while trying to come up with some great deals for you about crayons. What we were discussing was the multitude of colors that are available to budding young artists these days. Back in the day, when many of us around here were kids, there were 64 colors in the crayon box. Diverse but conservative colors like colors like Raw Sienna and Forest Green. That was it our palette stopped at 64. That was the most you got in one box and you had to plan your creativity appropriately.
Today things have changed, so I did a little research. The new total is 133. I found that 13 colors have been retired. Retired crayons, I guess that is sort of like retiring a jersey in sports. They have apparently gone to the crayon hall of fame. Some colors have been renamed since they were released. The names get changed to more relevant or politically correct names like Prussian Blue being renamed to Midnight Blue.
These days they make crayons in metallic, glitter, pearl, some of them change colors and some even have scents. Lots of choices for the little crayon artist of today. These expanded colors mean more chances for your creativity to run willy-nilly through the 1-D world of coloring books. Of course, coloring can be quite therapeutic and relaxing.
Speaking of relaxing, today’s deal is a one hour massage for $25 from Massage Means at Italienne Salon and Spa. You know, coloring is relaxing but using this deal will be way better. Massage therapy can relieve pain, reduce stress, anxiety and increase relaxation. Coloring can’t do all that.
Today’s deal includes your choice of Swedish, deep tissue or pre-natal massage. Denise Means, the hands of Massage Means, is a certified massage therapist in practice for three and half years.
Today’s deal which is a one hour massage for $25 from Massage Means at Italienne Salon and Spa is a great opportunity for you to have a massage experience. That is much better than using the scented Sasquatch Socks crayon with the fluorescent Radical Red crayon to color Elmo.
