There are many exotic foods that one can try and when I say exotic I mean weird. If you have cable or satellite TV then you’re probably familiar with a number of shows on the food or travel channels involving weird or unusual food. I see the ads for them as I’m surfing around the channels.
I don’t watch these shows for a couple of reasons but the main reason is I don’t need to see someone eating some weird food even if that weird food is a delicacy in Madagascar. I also don’t need to see some guy eating the wild trumpet flower that tastes like ambrosia because most likely I will only be able to find the domesticated trumpet flower in the grocery store and it tastes like spinach and I don’t like spinach. So I say no to the really exotic stuff because of weirdness and access.
Another reason for staying with the mundane, if you will, is that I know I really like that stuff. You may like the weird and exotic and like to gamble with new tastes but I don’t.
The great thing about today’s deal is it is for both the adventurous and the not so adventurous. $20 of food for $10 at Great Castle Chinese Restaurant allows you to try a wide range of Chinese food for half the price. There is really no living on the edge here. This is all good stuff. Our own Pete Tittl said, "Great Castle can be recommended for a Fine Dining Experience"
Today’s half price deal at Great Castle Chinese Restaurant allows you to try something tasty for well…half the price. Less risk and more reward is always a good thing. So go ahead try that weird dish that you think should be on the food channel but I’m sticking with the orange chicken and fried rice. Taste tested and yummy!
